Owner Kathy, who lovingly runs the shop alongside her two Yorkies, relocated the business after spending 30 years visiting the Gulf and falling in love with the area—finally making Foley home.

I just recently brought a friend of mine who was visiting from Massachusetts, and we both had a good time looking around. I ended up having a long, detailed discussion about a number of topeks and I found the owner, Kathy, very personable and honest, and she's just fantastic. She is incredibly knowledgeable and truly takes the time to talk with you, which was a joy. While I didn't pick anything up for myself this time, my friend was absolutely impressed by the selections. She found some turquoise jewelry from an estate sale that was stunning, and she ended up making some significant purchases. The shop has a great mix of unique estate pieces and custom work, and the atmosphere is very inviting and comfortable. It is a women-owned business, and you can tell Kathy puts a lot of heart into what she does. Personal note: I looked forward to our second visit there just because of her adorable Yorkie who loves to play fetch with me :-)Bottom line: If you are looking for a jeweler with real talent and honesty where you'ill feel comfortable and get and enjoy your experience, go see Kathy at Alabama Goldsmith Jewelers.
